Today I would like to show you this video made by Barbie Figueroa, because it’s about branding yourself with the help of participation in mastermind group activities. And, as a frequent visitor of this blog already knows, those two areas has already been mentioned here… (Important stuff!)
- Well, she is also passing along an e-book titeled “Is Your Thinking Making You Rich Or Poor” and for your convenience you can just click on the link in this sentence and get to read it for free.
One good little passage in the e-book that I would like to quote is this:
“You see, the Successful person realizes if they don’t first learn how to make just $20 dollars, that they will not be able to learn how to instantly make $1,000. The Successful person realizes You don’t become Bill Gates overnight.”
I think this sentence is really worth to stop and think about, especially in this day and age with its fast pace and instant gratifiction mentality.
Another thing that to some people can feel really relieving is the thought about “no competition”. It is a really wonderful thought isn’t it? And that could be a really positive starting point for brand building activities, to look at what makes me as a person unique and focus on that when building a strong personal brand.
NOTE: I do not recommend Barbie’s business opportunity — in fact I don’t have any opinion what-so-ever about whether it’s good or not for you.
But, the video she’s made and the free e-book is wonderful free assets capable of inspiring to improvements in moving forward, in regard to branding yourself and taking advantage of activities in mastermind groups with like minded business people “out there”.
To round up this blog post I would like to offer you yet another quote from the free e-book mentioned above. This time it is about “correct thinking”. What do you think about this? Do let us all know in a comment, please.
“You see the Unsuccessful person is always in that “I want it right now or I don’t want it at all” mode. The Successful person is always in that “I want it right now but realistically I know it takes time and I’m willing to wait so I can have it all” mode.”

I am a frequent reader of your blog posts. I liked the recent one and other posts on your blog so much that I have subscribed to the blog’s RSS feed in Thunderbird. Even thinking of stealing some ideas and put them to work. Keep all the good work going by posting more informative posts. Thank you. Time well spent on this post.

I get your drift on where you were going there. I often think of my past and use it as a means to analyze where I am and where I want to get to. Where I struggel is balancing it all out. How do you guys balance things out?
